Is there life after Envision? :P

by

The Spring 2009 ENVISION fashion show was undeniably an event people are talking about.  Featuring four stores, eleven designers, and more hairstylists than you’ll find in your average salon, this show was jam packed with sleek models, interesting design, and hair one might even call art.

The show was a mix of looks that varied from “very wearable” to looks that were definitely created to show off the designers creative skills (and perhaps end up in some hipster’s uptown closet).  A few personal favorites were the cinderella dresses from PFT Couture and the utterly feminine collection from JoyNoelle.

Drama’s segment featured spring dresses and accessories, choosing Sky’s brown grecian maxi dress with golden embellishments as our “signature” look.   As for me,  I chose to go with a vintage black lace dress with a slight crinoline, paired with red patent leather peep-toe heels and vintage red clutch to match.    My necklace is by Elizabeth Aloe.  My friend Megan (also pictured) wore a silk floral print dress from Nu Collective and earrings by m.bridget designs.
