Fashion Fight Night III

by

What do you call 800 fashionistas in a boxing gym?  Fashion Fight Night, of course!

This annual fashion event hosted by Metro Magazine was held at Uppercuts Gym in NE Minneapolis and benefited one of my favorite philanthropic organizations,  The Lead Project (www.theleadproject.org).  Attendees sipped complimentary cocktails while watching their favorite fashion photographers shoot models in the ring.  This nail biting competition (okay, not really, but it was still pretty cool) was judged by Metro Magazine’s style editor Mary O’Regan,  MOA’s trend expert Sara Rogers,  stylist Grant Whittaker, LEAD board member Uri Neren, and Rox jewelry designer Robyne Robinson (whose lovely line is available at Drama).

Fascinating as it is, the best part of Fashion Fight Night is not what is happening in the ring.  The thing that makes FFN unique is the people watching!   Guests pull out their most stylish looks for this fashion forward event and it almost makes you feel as though you are in NYC instead of good old Minnie.

I chose a flirty number from Haven for the event, paired with glittering earrings by m.bridget designs.  All available at Drama, of course.  😉
